Ch. 2.9–Pixel Parties

Last time, Oz realized Rags was The One, Mio tried in vain to catch Grape Sorbet’s attention, and Mayu was ignored by every available teenager in town. In this chapter, I will be just quickly going over the ten-million birthdays I had recently in-game so I can move on to the Heir Poll ASAP. So, we will begin this chapter with the first obvious “DAT ASS” moment of this legacy.

Of course it would be between Rusty and a male maid. lol

Speaking of Rusty, as soon as I got the pop-up saying it was his birthday, I caught him doing this. Apparently, he’s getting prepared for the common elderly affliction of waterslide obsession.

Rusty: DEM BOOBS.

Apparently, Rusty’s just getting all-around prepared for elder status.

Meanwhile, Mayu was in a state of shock concerning her impending transition to young adulthood…

While Mio literally ran through the party guests to get to her cake. Best part is: Denim Chimeree actually cheered while thinking about Mio as she completely impaled him. :)

Pandora seemed far too excited about her brother-in-law’s birthday party.

While her teenaged clone, Shayla, ran up late and still looking quite childish.

Rusty does not seemed pleased by his sparkles. D:

Mio sparkles while Mayu glares.

Mayu: Once again, you go first even though I am the oldest.

Mio: Shut up, sis, or you won’t grow up as hot as me.

Mayu: Uhm… about that. You really need a trip to the mirror.

By the time it was finally Mayu’s turn, Alice seemed a bit confused. She cheered with her back to the birthday girl.

Hey, look! The second “Dat Ass” moment of this legacy… this time with 100% more inappropriate excitement!

Mayu is a very graceful sparkle-pants.

And I am pleased to announce that her profile is not nearly as upsetting as it once was!

Now, onto the Post-Makeover Shots!

Here’s Rusty all elderfied and not looking nearly as run-down as I had expected. He is currently at level 5 of his career, so we still have a ways to go if we’re going to achieve his LTW. I doubt we’ll get there, though, as his band-mates hate him and his job performance is really low because of it.

Mayu rolled “Nurturing” as her fifth trait. Thus, she was given a rather elegant and proper-looking makeover. At least, that’s what I wanted it to be, I don’t know how well I did.

And here is Mio, who rolled “Star Quality”. Perhaps she’s using a bit of that newfound allure to convince Grape to stick around this time?

Yeah, just look at that face; I think he’s finally hooked!

Unfortunately, the allure of Mio is all-consuming and we snagged a creepy maid’s attention in the process.

Still, after spamming romantic interactions for a bit, Mio got her first kiss and finally snagged Grape as her new boyfriend!

Then, through the combined efforts of her mother and a creepy paparazzo, the moment was ruined.

After quickly confirming their relationship status, Grape ran inside to watch t.v.

Grape: Oh yeah, I’m a stud. I just started dating the hottest girl in S.V.! 

Mayu: *rolls eyes* Seriously, Grape? You know we’re a legacy family, right? We’ll date anyone with interesting genetics… we don’t really have a choice!

Grape: Legacy family?! Not again!!

Mayu: *satisfied smirk*

Grape: Wait a minute- this could be a good thing… 

Mayu: Oh, here we go…

Grape: Why yes, I think I should like to create my spawn and spread them throughout this alternate dimension. One day, there will be thousands of Grape Sorbets living out every possible action and interaction all throughout the SIMVERSE!! 

Mayu: …

Mayu: Fantastic!!! My twin’s dating an insane freak and I can’t even get one DATE!

Meanwhile…

Alice: Daughter.  

Mio: Mom.

Both: *love*

Seriously, Alice has a very obvious favorite child. She’s BFFs with Mio, but not even friends with Oz or Mayu. Oddly enough, she likes Rags more than either of them. After that sweet autonomous moment with her mother, Mio went to join her boyfriend on the couch…

So, of course, he took off.

Grape: The computer is broken. Broken computers will eat your face. Everyone knows that; I’ve gotta get out of here!

Mio: *sigh* He took off again, didn’t he?

Mayu: C’mon, sis, he’s probably just running off to graduation!

This is Rags, peeing herself. This is a daily occurrence. >.< Apparently, no one trained the IFs.

I like that Mio’s classmates voted her Most Likely to Have a Big Family. Because, y’know, the Pixels aren’t already populating at least 1/4 of the town or anything. :p

….And Mayu is kinda mediocre already… :(

Rags: Hey, Oz, the adults are all going on a free vacation right now… what should we do??

Osmond: I don’t know about you, but I’m going to  go home and eat a bunch of junk food!!

Ten Minutes Later:

Oz: Aww, man, math is hard!

Rags: What are you complaining about? You’re a genius!

Osmond and Rags did throw a teen party, but before anyone even did anything we got the pop-up saying the adults were coming home early. Lame.

But maybe it was because the next day was Alice’s birthday! I went ahead and gave her a party with Osmond and Rags, even though they weren’t technically due to age up until the day after. I just couldn’t handle three birthday parties all in the same Sim-week.

Alice seemed really, really excited to be joining her husband in elderhood.

Until she realized how crappy the clothes were. :(

Up next was Osmond. Note the extreme level of excitement on Rags’s face. That must be the daredevil trait… doing things extreme and all.

Rags crowded in on his glory and started blowing out her candles before he even sparkled.

Then ignored him when he grew up all hot.

Maybe it was because she somehow knew he was about to pee everywhere.

Finally, after many, many hours, it was Rags’ turn to sparkle.

Post Makeover Shots:

If you ignore the stink clouds, he’s actually very good-looking. And… now that I look through my folder again, that’s actually the only post makeover shot I have. Alice went straight to bed so I didn’t get her, and Rags looks exactly the same, but a little taller, so I didn’t bother. Anyway, sorry for the lack of story in this chapter, I just really want to get the heir poll up so we can start working on Gen. 4! So, keep an eye out for that very soon!

Around Town:

Jeannette McIrish aged up and immediately married Jean Wan. Thus, Mayu’s BFF is now also her aunt.

Leslie had a bit of an accident with Preston Wainwright and a shotgun wedding ensued. Soon thereafter, she gave birth to a boy named Norris.

Cocaine Chimeree is, appropriately, churning out about 3 books every Sim week and still manages to have time to churn out numerous children as well.
